DMCA & Copyright Policy
The guides, illustrations, and code on Age Difference Calculator are original work we’re proud of — and we respect that you protect yours too. This page explains how to report copyright infringement and how to respond if your content was removed.
Our commitment to copyright
Calcverse Labs LLC respects the intellectual property of others and expects users of Age Difference Calculator to do the same. We comply with the U.S. Digital Millennium Copyright Act (DMCA) and will promptly review and act on valid notices of claimed infringement involving content we host.
If you believe material on the Site infringes a copyright you own or control, you may submit a takedown notice using the procedure below.
How to file a takedown notice
To be effective under the DMCA, your written notice to our Designated Agent must include all of the following:
- A physical or electronic signature of the copyright owner or a person authorised to act on their behalf.
- Identification of the copyrighted work claimed to have been infringed.
- Identification of the material you claim is infringing, with enough detail for us to locate it — ideally the exact URL(s) on Age Difference Calculator.
- Your contact information: full name, mailing address, telephone number, and email.
- A statement that you have a good-faith belief the disputed use is not authorised by the copyright owner, its agent, or the law.
- A statement, made under penalty of perjury, that the information in your notice is accurate and that you are the copyright owner or authorised to act on their behalf.
Designated copyright agent
Send your notice to our Designated Agent:
To help us respond quickly, please put “DMCA Notice” in the subject line. We aim to acknowledge valid notices within 2 business days.
Counter-notification
If your material was removed or disabled and you believe this was a mistake or misidentification, you may send a counter-notification to the agent above. It must include:
- Your physical or electronic signature.
- Identification of the material that was removed and the location where it appeared before removal.
- A statement under penalty of perjury that you have a good-faith belief the material was removed by mistake or misidentification.
- Your name, address, and phone number, and a statement that you consent to the jurisdiction of the federal court for your district (or, if outside the U.S., the district where we may be found), and that you will accept service of process from the complaining party.
We may restore the removed material in 10–14 business days unless the original complainant files a court action seeking to restrain the activity.
Repeat infringers
In appropriate circumstances and at our discretion, we will limit access to, or terminate the accounts or activity of, users who are found to be repeat infringers.
